Call now. A person picks up.

We’re on the road all day and night. Tell us your address and what’s locked, and we’ll give you a price and a time.

How a lockout call goes

From your first ring to an open door.

  1. 1

    1. You call

Dial (937) 555-0148. Carla or a tech answers and takes your address. Tell us what’s locked: house, car or business.

  2. 2

    2. You hear the price

We quote the whole thing, after-hours fee included, before the van leaves. The number you hear is the number you pay.

  3. 3

    3. We send the nearest tech

You get a text with their name and an arrival time, and another when they’re about five minutes away.

  4. 4

    4. ID, then open

We check photo ID and proof it’s yours: a bill, a lease or the registration. Most locks open in under ten minutes, no damage.

Keys in an old brass mortise lock on a wooden door

No drilling unless there’s no other way

We open it, we don’t break it

Picking, bypass and air wedges open most home, car and office locks without damage, and you keep the lock. If a lock is jammed or broken and drilling is the only way, we say so before we start and fit a new one on the spot.

If you’ve lost the only key, we can cut a new one from the lock and rekey it, so a key that’s out there somewhere stops working.

So we can get you in fast

What to have ready when you call

Our techs aren’t allowed to open a door for just anyone, which keeps you safe too. A few things make the visit go quickly.

  • Your photo ID with your name on it
  • A bill, lease or mail showing the address
  • For a car: registration or insurance card
  • Your cross street and a safe place to wait

Lockout questions

How fast can you get here?

In Dayton, Kettering, Oakwood and the neighborhoods around them, most calls get a locksmith at the door in 20 to 35 minutes. Out in Huber Heights, Springboro or Fairborn, plan on 30 to 50. We give you a real time on the phone, then text you when the van is a few minutes away.

Does a person really answer at 3 a.m.?

Yes. Carla or one of our technicians picks up the phone, day or night, including holidays. There is no call center and no dispatcher in another state. If we’re on a job when you call, you’ll get a text within minutes with an arrival time.

What do I have to show you?

Before we open anything, we ask for a photo ID with your name and, for a home or business, something that ties you to the address, like a utility bill, a lease, or mail. For a car, we need the registration or title. If you can’t show it, we can’t open it, and that protects you too.

Will you damage my door or lock?

Almost never. Picking and bypass tools open most home, car and office locks without a scratch, and you keep the lock. If a lock is broken or jammed and has to be drilled, we tell you before we start and replace it on the spot.

What does a call at night or on a holiday cost?

There’s a flat $45 after-hours fee between 9 p.m. and 7 a.m. and on holidays, added to the normal price. We quote the total on the phone, so the number you hear is the number you pay.

Stuck right now? Call.

We answer every hour of every day. If we’re on another job, you’ll get a text with a time within minutes.
