Just moved in? Rekey before you unpack

Fall is a busy moving season. Whoever owned your house before you probably still has a key.

A lock cylinder beside the key that fits it

You never know how many keys the last owner handed out: the cleaner, the neighbor, the old roommate, the contractor.

Rekeying changes the inside of your existing locks so the old keys stop working and a new one fits. It takes about 15 minutes per lock and costs far less than replacing them. For a typical five-lock house it’s $119.

What to ask for

Book a rekey for the day you get the keys, before the movers arrive. Ask us to also check the strike plates, and change the garage keypad code. We’ll cut as many keys as you need, and mark each ring so you know which door it opens.
