Double glass storefront doors secured with a padlock and chain

A shop owner chained the front doors every night because the lock had failed. A proper storefront lock fixed it the same day.

The glass doors’ original lock had stopped catching, so the owner closed up with a chain and a padlock, which is a fire hazard and a bad look.

We fitted a keyed storefront deadbolt on the active door, added throw bolts on the other, and rekeyed the back door to the same key.

The result

One key locks the whole shop, nothing has to be chained, and customers see a clean entrance.

“We were chaining the front doors every night because the lock was shot. They fitted a proper storefront lock the same afternoon.”
